freedom

In reply to a write up on freedom
"U are free only when u are aware that u are free"
breaking it up we come to two stages
1)freedom of thought
2)freedom of expression(action)
most of us have the freedom of thougt which always exists & needs to be discovered rather than achieved
& freedom of expression arises from d conviction in thought & it's credibility within d framework of a universal moral code & definitely not by conservative standards
the partial agreement to ur statement comes from d fact that the freedom of action is not universally prevalent

THE DAWN

There is a distant gleam &
a steady flash
an unfeigned beam cuts
through the deadly dark&
sloughs it off
with dexterous spark

Rising with rapture &
superseding fervor
unfurling gold with
divine splendor

Never unfolds an
otiose ray
suffses honor on earth
everyday
Unfolding itself with adroit grace
it harbingers doom
in the indolent's fate

Indolence departs
for an aimless walk
to encroach & haunt
only when it's dark

THE HEROES

The heroes repose,
repose with a reassuring grace
a grace which distends
an ardor of hpoe

Obscurities ar no more
vision is limpid & perspecious
hope is back
as tenacious as ever

Their unfeigned hope
lingers on
suffuses a passion
which forever stays on

They are our heroes
evermore they live
etched in memories
nevermore to leave

INDISTINCT PAST

A quixotic path
imbued with an aura of uncertainity
a supine jorney
leavened with ineptitude
were precursors of
the dubious destination to be

Treading on a vacuous path
dense with a deadly dark
nevermore could he see himself
haunted by the obloquy of the past
he fortuitously walked
into the abyss of his

STRANGE QUEST

Walking down a mourning quiet lane
with pavements as if to sink
a few stray dogs, some
disgusted & withered faces

A strange force of quest
turned me to the glittering sky
i was stunstuck
i never knew why
black jets streamed outta nowhere
against a violet sky

I rode back home
'my self" still in the sky
all the while i pondered
where was i?

SCARRED HOPE

There was once a city
a city brimming & beaming with life
striving with unfeigned hope
with a vision of
a resplendent future

A vision accompanied by hope
a hope for a better tomorrow
a hope for a wholesome future
but, the supervening events
harbingered otherwise

The hope was vanquished by
a convulsive smoke of hatred
leaving behind an aura of
perpetual pain
The resplendent visions
obscured by smoke
impregnated with ignorance

An insane act of ignominy
leaving behind an eternal scar
on the face of hope

Will this sanguinary act
make our lives ascetic &
vision austere?
will this servility to religion
against humanity ever end?
